About the event
Join us for an afternoon of unique self-care and peaceful practice, in the beautiful Waterloo Park pavilion. The combination of Qigong (Tai chi for health) and EFT tapping (Energy psychology) is a wonderful way to relax, and release some stress, whilst opening to your inner-calm.
Qigong Shibashi practice
Reconnect with your body and slow everything down with the beautiful practice of Shibashi Qigong (Tai Chi for Health). Followed by group tapping to release emotional blocks.
We begin with waking up the body gently through ancient Chen stretching, developed by the Chen Tai Chi Masters in China. Shibashi is a very accessible 18 form practice where we bring balance to your system through mindful movement which can be done seated or standing. People report feeling much more relaxed after wards, as well as improved sleep and less physical aches. The movement is very gentle and has the power to bring us into our body again, in the NOW.
For mindbody health Qi must be flowing throughout our meridian system, however as a result of modern life energy gets stuck and we become unwell. Practising Qigong is a great way to bring balance, feel more self compassion and improve many health conditions. Appropriate for beginners and can be done seated or standing.
Group EFT tapping
EFT is a powerful mind-body therapy that helps you clear blocked emotions, resolve symptoms and discover a more fulfilling life. It is useful for such a wide range of life issues, and increasing research is proving that this is a powerful therapy.
Emotions are energy in motion, and any 'issues' we face represent a block in this system. Through gently tapping on meridian points and saying out loud how you feel, you can quickly move energetic blocks and feel change. When people discover the benefits of EFT, big shifts begin to occur in their life. I love sharing this tool and coaching people on self-tapping techniques.
Tapping in a group is a special experience, as we tap into collective challenges at this time, and find acceptance with others. There is a healing quality to witnessing one another and feeling heard, as well as feeling a collective energy shift.
The peaceful afternoon in the park will be closed with a mindful meditation to guide you beyond the class and help you to find more peace in your everyday life.
Herbal teas provided. No need to bring a yoga mat, we will be using chairs and standing for the class. Please email Stella with any questions or mobility/access requirements.
